Governor Peter Mbah Awards Scholarship to Housemaid Brutally Abused by Anambra Lawyer

She also used a hot iron to burn the girl's bottom and cheeks after claiming that the girl had sex with her six-year-old son.
When the victim, who is from Owelli Court in the Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, was returned to Anambra on Tuesday by the Enugu State Government, a correspondent encountered her.

The State Commissioner for Women and Social Affairs, Mrs Ify Obinabo said the Anambra Government had attempted the clinical treatment and mental treatment for the person in question and she is presently steady to go on with her life.
"The Enugu State government came last week and mentioned that I ought to give up the young lady to them since she is from Enugu State. "They said they believe should do the documentation for her scholarship and since they have finished it, they are bringing her back. "We have been dealing with her. She's been with us and since she has returned after the documentation, she's returning to our home and will be there until the public authority settles each arrangement. "She will likewise be assisting us with the indictment of the suspect," she said.
The victim who was overwhelmed by joy, communicated appreciation to God and all who came to her aid during her struggles. She said she would make the most of the scholarship opportunity offered to her by the government of Enugu State.
