Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command have apprehended Mr. Mfonobong David Udoudom, a suspended lecturer from the University of Nigeria, following a viral video allegedly depicting him harassing a female student within his office premises.
The University of Nigeria management took decisive action, announcing the immediate suspension of Mr. Udoudom, pending a thorough investigation into the incident. The lecturer, purportedly affiliated with the General Studies Division, was captured in the video clad in boxers, a scene that sparked outrage across various platforms.

Sources made available to MySchoolNews within the university, confirmed that prior to his suspension, authorities from the Nsukka Area Command of the police had taken Mr. Udoudom into custody. The university administration affirms its commitment to conducting a comprehensive inquiry.
In a statement issued by the acting Public Relations Officer, Chief Okwun Omeaku, the university reiterated its staunch stance against sexual misconduct, emphasizing its zero-tolerance policy and the swift initiation of disciplinary proceedings.
