Governor Soludo Applauds Vice Chancellor Nwakoby and Vows Sustained Backing in COOU Visit

On Friday, the 17th of November 2023, Anambra State Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, undertook a meaningful one-day official visit to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The visit was marked by commendations for the Vice Chancellor, Professor Greg Nwakoby, and a generous donation to the university.

During the visit, Vice Chancellor Nwakoby expressed gratitude for Governor Soludo's commitment and valuable time, declaring the university as "the governor's constituency." Focusing on critical areas such as hostels, unfinished buildings, library enhancements, and security, especially at the Uli Campus, Prof. Nwakoby appealed for assistance and underscored the importance of a Governing Council for the university's seamless operations.

Governor Soludo, acknowledging the demanding nature of the Vice Chancellor's role, praised Prof. Nwakoby's leadership at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The Governor congratulated the Vice Chancellor on his achievements to date and urged him to continue excelling, emphasizing that Prof. Nwakoby is finishing strong in his current position.
