On Friday, the 17th of November 2023, Anambra State Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, undertook a meaningful one-day official visit to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. The visit was marked by commendations for the Vice Chancellor, Professor Greg Nwakoby, and a generous donation to the university.

During the visit, Vice Chancellor Nwakoby expressed gratitude for Governor Soludo's commitment and valuable time, declaring the university as "the governor's constituency." Prof. Nwakoby lauded Governor Soludo for his consistent support, addressing the university's various needs and positively impacting both staff and students.

Focusing on critical areas such as hostels, unfinished buildings, library enhancements, and security, especially at the Uli Campus, Prof. Nwakoby appealed for assistance and underscored the importance of a Governing Council for the university's seamless operations.
