The Grooming Centre, a leading microfinance institution in Nigeria, is pleased to announce the 2024 University Grant Scheme. This initiative aims to support research and knowledge development in areas such as financial inclusion, microfinance, rural development, social enterprise, and more.
The grant scheme, now in its sixth edition, will award 100 undergraduate and 50 postgraduate students who are conducting research in these fields. The application period opens on July 16th, 2024, and closes on September 20th, 2024.

Applicants must be students in Nigerian tertiary institutions, and their research must align with the Grooming Centre’s mission to empower the economically active poor. The grant will support innovative research and projects that have the potential to drive social change and impact.
