IAUE New Acting Registrar Warns Admission Racketeers Against Using his Name for their Fraudulent Works

Thanking Staff who saw his appointment as the Acting Registrar effective July 1st, 2024 as a dream come true, he reminded others who may not be so happy about it that the Registry Department is like a big Elephant that cannot be carried by one person alone. Dr Ajie reiterated that the ongoing recruitment process is the exclusive responsiblity of the Governing Council of the institution and not that of the Acting Registrar or Vice Chancellor.

He admonished those engaged in these fraudulent activities to desist from it so as not to put their families in jeopardy. He equally warned those giving out their hard earned money to impostors, scammers and fraudsters to note that the Acting Registrar and Vice Chancellor cannot circumvent the ongoing proceedings of the Governing Council just to facilitate their employment. He informed that they are engaging with these vendors and racketeers at their own peril.

The Acting Registrar who advised Staff not to sell their birthright, encouraged those already on the payroll of the Rivers State Government to transfer their services to the University instead of applying for fresh employment where they are likely to be paid double salaries if employed by the University.
