IBBUL Scientists Develop Eco-Friendly Innovations

Scientists at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), have made significant strides in developing eco-friendly and affordable alternative solutions. Four researchers presented their innovative projects at the Center for Applied Sciences and Technology Research (CASTER).

The presentations included research on using modified nano clays to prevent mold growth in stored food grains, producing anti-diabetic nano particles from mango tree leaves, creating electric transformer cooling oil from cashew kernel oil, and exploring the implications of substituting fish meal with Beni seeds in catfish diets.

The Director of CASTER, Dr. Hussaini Majiya, commended the researchers on their innovative projects and encouraged further development with additional grants, patents, and potential commercialization. These research efforts demonstrate IBBUL's commitment to innovation and community development.
