Ungwan Rimi Community Pays Courtesy Visit to KASU Vice Chancellor
Leaders from the Ungwan Rimi community paid a courtesy visit to Professor Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU), on August 11, 2025.
The delegation, comprising traditional rulers, religious leaders, local security heads, and political representatives, thanked Prof. Musa for his support and discussed ways to strengthen their relationship.
The Imam of Nagwamatse Mosque appreciated Prof. Musa for providing job opportunities and requested more openings for drivers, security staff, and other positions.
The community leader also thanked the Vice Chancellor for assisting with school admissions and requested more chances for young people in the community.
The APC Chairman for Kaduna North commended Prof. Musa for assigning security officers to the area and ensuring regular patrols to prevent crimes. Prof. Musa announced that he would personally cover the medical treatment costs for 10 families, especially orphans.
Prof. Musa welcomed the visitors and assured them of his continued support. He promised to assist with job opportunities whenever vacancies arise and expressed his commitment to strengthening the relationship between KASU and the community.
