The facility, named The Harmony Campus, is located along Ibrahim Taiwo Road in the heart of Ilorin.
The Ilorin Study Campus represents a key milestone in the university’s expansion strategy, aimed at strengthening access to flexible, technology-driven higher education across North-Central Nigeria. The campus is designed to complement the university’s digital learning model by providing structured, on-site academic support for students within Ilorin and surrounding communities.

According to the university, the facility will enable students to combine distance and e-learning with physical access to academic resources, peer collaboration, and face-to-face academic guidance, while retaining the flexibility associated with open university education.
The university described the campus as a platform for widening educational inclusion and removing traditional barriers to university education through the integration of digital learning systems with physical support infrastructure.
The name The Harmony Campus reflects Kwara State’s reputation for peaceful coexistence and cultural unity, while also symbolising the university’s ongoing national expansion and commitment to innovative learning delivery.
