IMAP Acting Rector Dr. Maifata Inspects Departments Ahead of NBTE Accreditation

The Acting Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia, Dr. Nurudeen M. Maifata, has conducted a comprehensive inspection of various departments to assess their readiness for the upcoming National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accreditation exercise.

In preparation for the forthcoming National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accreditation exercise, the Acting Rector of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia, Dr. Nurudeen M. Maifata CLN MNLA, has undertaken a thorough inspection of several departments within the institution.

Accompanied by the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Ibrahim Dauda, the Acting Rector evaluated the facilities, equipment, and overall preparedness of the departments. The inspection was part of the polytechnic’s efforts to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with the NBTE’s accreditation standards.

The accreditation exercise, which is essential for maintaining the polytechnic’s academic quality, requires that all departments meet specific standards of infrastructure, resources, and teaching capabilities. The inspection tour, which took place on Monday, November 25th, 2024, is seen as a crucial step in guaranteeing the polytechnic’s preparedness for the upcoming evaluation by the NBTE.
