IMAP Inaugurates New Security Unit

The management of Isa Mustapha Agwai 1 Polytechnic (IMAP) has officially inaugurated its new security unit, a strategic move aimed at bolstering campus safety. This initiative is a reflection of the proactive leadership style of the acting Rector, Dr. Nurudeen M. Maifata, whose efforts to enhance security measures have been widely praised.
In his remarks, Dr. Maifata emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and that the establishment of a visible security post and the upgrade of security personnel are critical steps towards ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff, and visitors. “Security is every man’s business,” he stated, stressing the importance of vigilance and collaboration within the campus community.
The new security unit is equipped with modern facilities and staffed by a trained security team, set to improve the institution's overall security infrastructure.
