In a heartfelt Facebook post dated September 19, 2024, Giant Comr. Nnadi Franklin Chigekwu, the immediate past President of the Student Union Government (SUG) at Federal Polytechnic Oko, shared his best wishes for the students on election day.

“Dear students of Federal Polytechnic Oko, as the immediate past President of the Student Union Government (SUG), I want to extend my best wishes to each and every one of you on this election day,” he began.

Chigekwu specifically addressed the SUG aspirants, urging them to conduct themselves with “integrity and sportsmanship, remembering that election is not a do-or-die affair.” He expressed hope that “the best candidates emerge.”
