Inspira College Students Explore Caleb University Imota Main Campus, Eye Future Enrollment
Students from Inspira College, Lagos, visited Caleb University’s Imota Main Campus on March 7, 2025, as part of a familiarization tour organized by the university's marketing team.

In a bid to familiarize themselves with tertiary education opportunities, enthusiastic students from Inspira College, Lagos, embarked on a visit to Caleb University’s Imota Main Campus on Friday, March 7, 2025. The visit, facilitated by the Caleb University Marketing Team, marked a significant step in their potential academic journey.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Prof. Sunday Adewale, commended the Inspira College delegation for their interest in higher education and assured them that the familiarization visit would offer them firsthand exposure to the university’s culture, values, and extracurricular activities. He emphasized that the visit would enable the students to experience the university’s atmosphere, state-of-the-art facilities, and world-class infrastructure.
Leading the reception team was Mrs. Adewumi Rabiu, Deputy Registrar, Academic Affairs and Marketing. She was joined by other members of the University Marketing Team, including Mr. Gabriel Adekeye, Mrs. Funmilola Adeyemi, Mrs. Adejoke Mustapha, and Mrs. Funmilayo Aroyewun. Together, they introduced the visiting secondary school students to university life, academic programs, and campus resources.
The students, captivated by the magnificence of the campus, marveled at the architectural design of the buildings and the vast expanse of over one hundred hectares of university land. They spent the day engaging in exploratory activities, attending informative sessions, and interacting with university staff and students.
A key highlight of the visit was a tour of the campus radio studio, home to the NBC-licensed ‘Radio Caleb 100.3 FM.’ The state-of-the-art facility provides hands-on training in radio broadcasting and is equipped with a professional-grade digital audio workstation, high-quality microphones and headphones, and sophisticated acoustic treatments, including soundproofing materials, diffusers, and absorbers for optimal audio quality.
The students were guided through the studio by renowned mass communication scholars, including Prof. Charles Nwachukwu, Director of Academic Planning; Associate Prof. Kayode Okunade, Deputy Dean of CASMAS; and Dr. Monday Ogbona, Head of the Mass Communication Department. They provided the students with in-depth insights into the technicalities of radio broadcasting and its role in the academic and professional landscape.
The familiarization visit to Caleb University Imota Main Campus left an indelible impression on the Inspira College students, sparking enthusiasm about the possibility of furthering their education at the prestigious institution.
