In a remarkable educational milestone, Governor Uba Sani announced that the Kaduna State government has significantly reduced the number of out-of-school children. From a staggering figure of 680,000, the administration has successfully brought down the number by over 300,000 within its first year in office.

The announcement came during a celebratory lunch marking Governor Sani's one-year tenure, organized by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Malam Sadiq Mamman-Lagos. The Governor attributed this achievement to the administration's focused efforts on the education sector.

Addressing a diverse group of stakeholders at the event, which included elders, traditional rulers, government officials, party members, labour leaders, members of the organized private sector, and citizens, Governor Sani highlighted the construction of 62 brand new secondary schools and 2,347 new classrooms in existing primary schools across the state.
