Kaduna State University Opens Applications for 2024/2025 Postgraduate Programmes

Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced that applications for its 2024/2025 Postgraduate Programmes are now open. The online application forms are available from 2nd October to 30th November 2024.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the university’s application portal at [forms.kasu.edu.ng](http://forms.kasu.edu.ng) for details on the available programmes and application procedures. A processing fee of N10,000 is required for Nigerian applicants, while non-Nigerians are required to pay $20.
Admission Requirements
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
- Candidates must have five credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Third Class or an HND with Lower Credit from a recognized institution.
Professional Master’s Programmes:
- Five credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
- First degree with at least Second Class (Lower Division) from KASU or a recognized university, or a Third Class Degree or HND with a Postgraduate Diploma (minimum CGPA of 3.50).
Academic Master’s Programmes:
- Five credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
- A relevant First Degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the College of Science, Computing, and Engineering or Second Class (Lower Division) in other Colleges.
- Postgraduate Diploma with a CGPA of at least 3.50 may also be considered.
MPhil/PhD Programmes:
- Five credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
- A relevant First Degree with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) and an Academic Master’s Degree with a CGPA below the PhD requirement.
Doctorate Degree Programmes (PhD):
- Five credit passes, including English and Mathematics.
- A relevant First Degree with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division).
- An Academic Master’s Degree with a CGPA of 4.00 (College of Sciences) or 3.50 (other Colleges).
- Applicants are required to submit a research proposal of 1,000-1,500 words.
