Kano State Governor Appoints Dr. Balarabe Ismail Rogo As New Provost for College of Health Sciences

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has appointed Dr. Balarabe Ismail Rogo as the new Provost of Kano College of Health Sciences, effective immediately.

The announcement was made by the Governor's spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, following the resignation of the former Provost due to health issues.

Dr. Rogo brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as the Deputy Provost of the College. He is a certified Community Health Worker and holds an MSc in Microbiology from Bayero University, Kano .

The appointment is based on merit, reflecting the Governor's commitment to excellence in education and healthcare. Dr. Rogo's expertise will undoubtedly enhance the College's mission to provide top-notch training and research in health sciences.
