KASU Alumni Visit Chief of Defense Staff, Seek Collaboration on Security and Education

A delegation of Kaduna State University (KASU) alumni, led by Mal. Usman Tabari, visited the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, on October 10, 2024. The visit aimed to strengthen ties between KASU and the Nigerian Armed Forces while advocating for collaboration in security and education.

During the visit, the alumni presented Gen. Musa with an award of excellence for his contributions to national security. Mal. Tabari proposed projects such as the construction of a new main gate for KASU and a pedestrian bridge to improve student safety.

Gen. Musa expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting KASU. He also proposed mentoring students through a symposium, fostering a partnership between military service and academic excellence.
