KASU Management Team pays a Courtesy Visit to the Rector, Kaduna Polytechnic

The Management team of Kaduna State University led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa, paid a courtesy visit to the Rector,  Kaduna Polytechnic (KadPoly), Dr. Suleiman Umar on Monday, 11th September 2023, in his office.

In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor thanked the Rector for granting audience to the team. He went on to inform him and his staff of the organisational reforms going on in the University. 

The VC stated that Management is focusing on achieving teaching excellence, research excellence, and community Service.

Prof. Musa also said that to catapult the university to a global standard and achieve the desired result, the support of the Rector will be needed. He added that KASU aspires to be the best in Africa by setting up a skills acquisition centre,  international certification and professional programmes, hence the need for collaboration between the two institutions.  

On his part, the Rector commended the Vice-Chancellor and his team for their efforts towards transforming the university. He admitted the importance of collaborating to better society and gave assurance of his commitment to supporting the university in its pursuit of greatness.

The meeting culminated on a positive note, with both parties reaffirming their commitment to working together for the advancement and growth of education in Kaduna State and the Country at large.

Other members of the team that paid the courtesy visit include the Registrar, Samira Balarabe, Esq, the Director of Procurement, Dr Usman Abbas, the University Public Relations Officer, Adamu Nuhu Bargo, and the Protocol Officer to the VC, Mallam Hadi Tanko.
