KASU strengthens Cooperation with KADVS on Security

The Vice-Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa commended KADVS for the effort in preventing the breakdown of law and order and ensuring the protection of lives and property in KASU, its environs and Kaduna State in general. 

He said that the university was interested in sustaining the existing working relationship because without adequate security an administration won't run successfully. 

Prof. Musa informed the Commander and his team of Management's aspiration to reposition the university to a world-class standard with emphasis on teaching excellence, research and community service. 

Responding, the Commander of KADVS, Brig. Gen UM Ibrahim welcomed the Management of KASU and stated that he and his team are willing partners to consolidate the existing cordial relationship. He said community policing is a priority and will continue to deliver security and support to sister security outfits for the protection of lives and property. 

He advised Management to strive to maintain the peace enjoyed on the various university campuses and surrounding communities. 

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Yushau Ango, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Muhammad Bashir, the Registrar, Samira Balarabe Esq, the Bursar, Hajiya Hauwau Dalhat, Treasurer, Hajiya Khadija Muhammad, the University Public Relations Officer, Adamu Nuhu Bargo, the Special Assistant to the VC, Mallam Abdulazeez Aliyu Idris and the Protocol Officer of the University, Mallam Hadi Tanko.
