Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education Announces Competency Test
Current principals, vice principals, acting principals, and acting vice principals in the Admin Academics are to hand over the highest-ranking staff that are ineligible for the test prior to its conduct.

The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced a competency test for teachers, approved by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Katsina State. The test is scheduled to take place from October 21 to 23, 2024, with an additional workshop on October 24, 2024. All sessions will commence daily at 9:00 AM.
The venue for the test and workshop is the Ministry's Conference Hall, located at the Secretary’s Complex, P3on Na, Dandagoro, Katsina State.
All principals, vice principals, acting principals, and acting vice principals are required to present the following ID card information:
- Last promotion date
- TRCN number
- Educational qualifications
Candidates with less than six months of service are not eligible for the test. Current principals, vice principals, acting principals, and acting vice principals in the Admin Academics are to hand over the highest-ranking staff that are ineligible for the test prior to its conduct.
A list of the white-listed candidates from each zone has been attached for your reference and notification to your candidates.
