KHAIRUN and Kano State Polytechnic Explore Strategic Academic Partnership

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), on Thursday, 5th February, 2026, received the courtesy visit of the Director, School of Social Management Sciences, Kano State Polytechnic, Dr. Maryam Kabir.

In her remarks, Dr. Maryam Kabir described the visit as an official engagement between neighbouring institutions. She explained that the purpose of the visit was to interact with the management of KHAIRUN and explore areas of partnership and collaboration. She expressed optimism that the engagement would open new opportunities for mutual growth, knowledge exchange, and institutional development.

While receiving the delegation on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, the Registrar, Malam Yusuf Datti, expressed delight over the visit and appreciated the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by Kano State Polytechnic. He provided a brief overview of the university’s establishment, academic programmes, and key achievements, noting that KHAIRUN remains committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.

The Registrar also reaffirmed KHAIRUN’s readiness to collaborate with the School of Social Management Sciences, Kano State Polytechnic, in academic and professional development.

The visit ended on a cordial note, with both parties expressing willingness to sustain the relationship and work towards meaningful collaboration for the benefit of their institutions and the wider society.
