Nigerian Army University Biu Set to Host 2026 West African Social Activities

The Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) cordially invites the general public to its annual West African Social Activities (WASA) for the year 2026. 

WASA is a rich military tradition that dates back to the era of the West African Frontier Force, serving as a platform to celebrate the conclusion of the training year through cultural displays, food, and social interaction. This year’s event promises a vibrant showcase of Nigeria’s diverse ethnic heritage, reinforcing the bond between the military, their families, and the host community.

Venue: NAUB Sports Complex (Stadium) 

The celebration typically features cultural dance performances, a tug-of-war competition, and the presentation of awards to outstanding personnel in recognition of their dedication throughout the year. The event is expected to conclude with the traditional lighting of the campfire.
