Kwara State Polytechnic SUG Suspends Tricycle Services Over Unjustified Fare Hike

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Kwara State Polytechnic has temporarily suspended the use of tricycle services (Keke Napep) within the campus due to an unjustified fare increase.

The decision follows a recent hike in fares from N100 to N200, which the SUG considers exorbitant and unsustainable for the average student. This increase exploits students, who rely heavily on Keke Napep for transportation within the campus, amidst the current economic hardship.

The SUG has urged students to avoid patronizing Keke Napep operators within the campus until a fair and reasonable solution is negotiated.
