The attention of the Management of the Kwara State University has been drawn to a news item with the above heading stating that the resumption date for students of Faculties of Basic Medical Sciences and Pure and Applied Sciences had been postponed.
The University wishes to call the attention of the University Community and the Public that the information did not emanate from the Management of the University. Hence, it should be totally disregarded.
The University Management therefore dissociates itself from the news and its contents in entirety as it is being circulated on social media to mislead students and the general public.
Kwara State University wishes to use this medium to reiterate that the Academic calendar for the 2022/2023 as approved by the Senate should be adhered to.
