The Labour Party has firmly rejected claims made by one of its expelled members, Abayomi Arabambi, alleging that the party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, possesses discrepancies in his academic certificates. 

Abayomi Arabambi, a former member of the Labour Party, recently made headlines by asserting that Peter Obi, the party's chosen presidential candidate, has inconsistencies in his educational qualifications. However, the Labour Party's leadership has swiftly moved to disassociate itself from these allegations, categorically stating that they have thoroughly vetted Mr. Obi's credentials and are fully confident in their authenticity.

In response to the claims, the Labour Party released an official statement, emphasizing their unwavering support for Peter Obi and confirming their complete confidence in the accuracy of his academic qualifications. The statement went on to describe Abayomi Arabambi as a disenchanted former member who had been expelled from the party for various reasons, including misconduct and breach of party ethics.
