Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has announced that the institution will be closed on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in observance of Nigeria's National Independence Day. This closure aligns with the Federal Government's declaration of the public holiday to commemorate the country's 64th anniversary of independence.

In a notice issued by the Vice Chancellor, Mrs. Olayinka O. Balogun, the university confirmed that all offices would be closed, and regular business activities would be suspended on this day. However, essential service personnel will be notified if they are required to work during the holiday to ensure smooth operations where necessary.

Resumption of Activities

Normal operations at LAUTECH will resume on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. The Vice Chancellor also extended her best wishes to all staff and students for a joyful and reflective Independence Day celebration.
