Lagos School Triumphs in Bible Quiz Competition
Students from Angels on Mission School, Surulere, Lagos, have emerged champions in the third edition of the Bible Society of Nigeria's Primary School Bible Quiz. They achieved a flawless score of 100 points while outshining five other competing schools.
Students from Angels on Mission School, Surulere, Lagos, have emerged champions in the third edition of the Bible Society of Nigeria's Primary School Bible Quiz.
The event, held on Tuesday at the Bible Guest House in Palmgrove, Lagos, saw the school’s representatives, Annabel Onyekwere and Ogechi Ogogu, achieve a flawless score of 100 points, outshining five other competing schools.

God’s Glory Abide Nursery and Primary, located in Mile 12, Lagos, secured second place with 86 points, while News Estate Baptists School, Surulere, closely followed as the first runner-up with 85 points. Cr Victor School, Ijeshatedo, took fourth place with 80 points, Femat Private School, Ikorodu, earned fifth place with 78 points, and De-Future Hope School, Ojo, rounded out the competition in sixth place with 67.5 points.
During his opening remarks, Pastor Samuel Sanusi, the General Secretary of the Bible Society of Nigeria, emphasized the organisation’s dedication to spreading the Word of God across Nigeria. He underscored the importance of the primary school quiz in fostering young minds during their formative years.

Following their win, both Onyekwere and Ogogu expressed their gratitude to God and acknowledged the invaluable support and guidance provided by their teachers in preparing them for the competition.
