LASU Announces New Students' Games and Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign

Lagos State University (LASU) is set to host the New Students' Games, following the official matriculation of newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 Academic Session. The games are scheduled to take place from Monday, March 4th, to Friday, March 8th, 2024, at the Sports Centre Complex, main campus, Ojo, Lagos
The event will kick off at 9:00 am daily, providing an opportunity for the newly enrolled students to engage in various sporting activities and foster camaraderie among themselves. The games aim to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy competition among LASU students.
In addition to the sports activities, Tuesday, March 5th, will feature a campaign against Drug Abuse. This initiative, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Recreation at LASU, is powered by Advocates for Peace Forum International in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Lagos Command.
The anti-drug abuse campaign underscores LASU's commitment to promoting a healthy and drug-free campus environment. Through informative sessions and awareness activities, students will be educated on the dangers of drug abuse and encouraged to make responsible choices regarding their health and well-being.
