LASU Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Inspects Facilities at Ojo Campus Ahead of 2024/2025 Examinations

Lagos State University’s (LASU) Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Professor Oseni Afisi, led an inspection of facilities at the Ojo campus on 21st February 2025, ahead of the 2024/2025 academic session examinations.

Lagos State University’s (LASU) Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Professor Oseni Afisi, on Friday, 21st February 2025, conducted a comprehensive inspection of facilities at the Ojo campus in preparation for the forthcoming 2024/2025 academic session examinations.

Accompanied by the Chairman of the LASU Timetable Committee, Professor Adebukunola Atolagbe, and senior staff members from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's office, the inspection aimed at ensuring that key facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, furniture, lighting, fans, and the university store, are in optimal condition ahead of the examinations.

During the visit, Professor Afisi engaged with students from the Faculties of Science, Arts, and Social Sciences, encouraging them to focus on their studies and prepare adequately for their examinations, which are set to begin on Monday, 3rd March 2025. He also emphasized the importance of academic integrity, urging students to refrain from any form of examination malpractice.

Among the key university officials present during the inspection were the Deputy Registrar, Mr. S. O. Asesanya, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. S. A. Randle, both from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's (Academic) office, and the Head of the Electrical Unit, Department of Works, Engineer Alfred Dairo.
