LASU Implements Mandatory Completion of LACACA Operations for Issuance of Matriculation Numbers
Lagos State University (LASU) has introduced the LASU Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA) as a compulsory requirement for all admitted students to obtain their matriculation numbers.

Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the implementation of the LASU Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA) as a mandatory requirement for all categories of admitted students to obtain their matriculation numbers. LACACA serves as an online clearance platform where the suitability of admitted candidates for their respective programs is verified.
According to the university's directive, all admitted candidates falling under the following categories are required to commence the LACACA operations before midnight on Friday, March 15, 2024:
i. Postgraduate students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session
ii. Sandwich degree program students admitted in the 2023 modular year
iii. School of Part-time students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session
iv. Conversion degree program students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session
v. Diploma students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session

Failure to comply with this directive will result in the forfeiture of provisional admissions.
Key points to note regarding the LACACA operations include:
- Matriculation numbers will only be issued upon 100% completion of the LACACA platform for the aforementioned admitted student categories.
- Students who have already been assigned matriculation numbers, particularly postgraduate students, but have not completed the LACACA operations will be unable to access their academic profiles.
- Programme coordinators are tasked with educating admitted candidates under their purview on the importance of commencing and completing the LACACA operations within the specified deadline.
- Admitted students must ensure timely submission of all necessary documents as the LACACA operation follows a strict time-bound process.
- The LACACA operation is conducted entirely online, emphasizing its convenience and accessibility.
