FUOYE Releases Requirements for One-Day VC Initiative

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has officially commenced its highly anticipated One-Day VC Challenge, a prestigious initiative aimed at recognizing and empowering exceptional students. The Directorate of Career Services announced that the competition begins today, March 27, 2025.
According to Prof. Adebola A. Aderibigbe, Director of the Directorate of Career Services, the challenge will be conducted in multiple stages, requiring participants to successfully complete each phase before advancing to the next. The initiative is exclusively open to 400-level students and above with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 from both the Oye and Ikole campuses. Furthermore, applicants must have a clean disciplinary record with no past or ongoing cases of misconduct.
The competition is structured with strict time constraints, and students are urged to manage their time effectively while staying updated with official communications. Participants are also advised to pay close attention to instructions, as failure to comply with the guidelines may result in disqualification.
Prof. Aderibigbe emphasized that no extensions would be granted for late submissions, and the entire challenge would be closely monitored to ensure fairness and transparency. He encouraged students to demonstrate commitment, focus, and discipline, noting that these qualities would be key to succeeding in the challenge.
