Caleb University Set to Hold Historic 18th Matriculation Ceremony

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos, widely recognized as Africa's Best Private University in Research and Entrepreneurship, is set to hold its 18th Matriculation Ceremony on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The event will take place at the university’s Imota Main Campus Multi-Purpose Hall, commencing at 9:00 a.m.

The matriculation ceremony marks a significant milestone in the academic journey of the newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students, as they formally become members of the Caleb University community. A key highlight of the event will be the administration of the Matriculation Oath of Allegiance, symbolizing the students' commitment to academic excellence and ethical conduct.

Addressing the fresh students, the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Adewale, encouraged them to take full advantage of the academic and extracurricular opportunities at Caleb University. He emphasized the importance of striving for excellence, engaging in professional interactions, and building meaningful relationships with peers and faculty members. He also expressed appreciation to parents and guardians for entrusting Caleb University with their wards’ education, assuring them of the institution's unwavering commitment to student success.

In a press statement, the Information, Media, and Publication Specialist, Olawale Adekoya, highlighted the importance of the matriculation ceremony, describing it as more than just a formal event. “Matriculation at Caleb University is not only a ceremony but a revered platform to assemble and guide fresh students in starting on the right foot. This is a formal process of becoming eligible ‘Calebites’ by fulfilling certain academic requirements,” Adekoya stated.
