Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile, Coordinator of the Centre for Information and Public Relations at LASU, announced that students and staff have been directed to stay off campus to ensure their safety. She emphasized that the university will provide further updates on the resumption of academic and administrative activities as the situation evolves.
Similarly, Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) has assured its community of adequate security measures on campus. Registrar David Ogungbe advised students to remain on campus and focus on their studies, highlighting that university buses will not operate outside the campus during the protest period.
