Living By Design Nation (LBD), in collaboration with Chrisland University, organized a heartwarming one-day hospital outreach and evangelism event.The initiative, supported by the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Professor Chinedum Babalola, was designed to give back to the community by providing comfort and support to patients and staff at local health facilities.

The outreach team, led by University Chaplain Rev. 'Juwon Onasanya, staff member Mrs. Rachael Oduyemi, and ten students from the Faculty of Nursing, and the Departments of Physiotherapy and Medical Laboratory Science, visited the Ogun State Hospital in Ijaye and the Mercy Group Hospital in Abeokuta.

The team brought with them an array of donations, including toiletries, baby essentials, and financial support, alongside offering prayers, counseling, and emotional support. Their visit aimed to improve the well-being of patients and staff, bringing joy and relief to those in need.

At the Ogun State Hospital’s male surgical ward and the maternity ward at the Mercy Group Hospital, the team’s presence was met with smiles and gratitude. The donations included maternity pads, baby diapers, tissue paper rolls, antiseptic soap, liquid disinfectants, detergent sachets, packed beverages, and cash gifts.

This outreach underscored the power of collaboration and compassion, showcasing how even small gestures can make a significant impact. The Living By Design Nation and Chrisland University team left the hospitals with a sense of fulfillment, knowing they had made a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients and staff they encountered.
