MAPOLY Governing Council Appoints Folasade Madariola as 8th Bursar

The Governing Council of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Folasade Ajewole Madariola, FCA, as the institution's 8th Bursar. Her appointment, effective September 10, 2024, was confirmed in a letter signed by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Emeritus Prof. Kamaldeen Balogun.

Mrs. Madariola succeeds Mr. Fatai Yekini, FCA, following the expiration of his tenure on September 9, 2024. She becomes the second female to serve as the institution's Bursar.

Madariola joined the polytechnic in 1999 as an Accountant II and rose to the position of Chief Accountant in 2017. An alumna of Ogun State Polytechnic (now MAPOLY), she holds a first-class degree in Accounting from Crescent University and an MBA in finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACIT).

The Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, and Deputy Rector, Dr. (Mrs.) Yetunde Lanre-Iyanda, presented her appointment letter on behalf of the Governing Council, congratulating her on the new role and wishing her a successful tenure.

Mrs. Madariola is married with children.
