The chairman of Lagos State park management,Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo has gifted a 13-year-old boy who drew his portrait with N500,000.
Myschoolnews reports the boy, Odesanya Oluwaferami from Supreme Education Foundation School, had drawn a detailed and accurate portrait of MC Oluomo, capturing his likeness and personality.
The talented young artist had put a lot of effort and time into creating the piece and it was clear that he had a passion for art.
MC Oluomo was so impressed by the boy’s talent and dedication that he decided to generously reward him with a cash prize of N500,000, a gesture which was well-received by the public as many people praised MC Oluomo for supporting and encouraging young talents.
The media management of LASPG took to social media to share photos from the presentation with the caption:
"Once you’re a man of the people, the people see value in you which connotes integrity, humanitarian and community service , empathy, thus a motivator for both the youth and the general public at large.
"In the case of one 13 year old boy Odesanya Oluwaferami from Supreme Education Foundation School who presented a beautiful canvas of Alhaji Dr, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya and one other Sanni David Precious who also presented a beautiful and wonderful canvas of the state chairman.
"These beautiful canvases made by these two talented young people melt the heart of the state chairman. He appreciated their efforts, encouraged their talent gave them words of encouragement to keep on pursuing their talents. Lastly, he gave them some huge amount of money to compensate their efforts, talent and time used in making the beautiful artwork.
