UNIPORT Directs students to Vacate campus, announces Resumption Date

The management of the University of Port Harcourt UNIPORT, has approved Students to vacate the halls of residence on Friday, 10th February 2023 to enable students to vote during the presidential and governorship elections.

According to a notice made available to myschoolnews, UNIPORT ends the 2021/2022 academic session ends on Friday, 10th February 2023.

However, the following categories of students are exempted by the University of Port Harcourt from vacating the halls of residence:

1. All Final Year students waiting for defence of their projects

2. All foreign students

3. All post-graduate students

4. All clinical students

Furthermore, findings by myschoolnews revealed that the date of resumption for UNIPORT students to continue the 2022/2023 academic session is 5th March 2023.

The notice reads;

END OF 2021/2022 ACADEMIC SESSION

The 2021/2022 academic session will end on Friday, 10* February, 2023.

Students are expected to vacate the halls of residence on Friday, 10* February, 2023.

However, the following categories of students are exempted from vacating the halls of residence:

The date of resumption for the 2022/2023 academic session is 5* March, 2023.
