MDCN Conducts Accreditation Exercise at University of Maiduguri

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has conducted an accreditation visit to the University of Maiduguri's College of Medical Sciences. The visit aimed to evaluate the institution's compliance with national standards in medical education.

The accreditation exercise focused on two key programs: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). The MDCN team, led by Dr. Nna Emeka Nwakanma, assessed the programs' adherence to professional and academic benchmarks required for medical and dental training in Nigeria.
