Medical Laboratory Science Students of Taraba State University Protest Over Accreditation and Mismanagement

Students of the Medical Laboratory Science department at Taraba State University are protesting at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo, demanding to see the governor over the department's alleged mismanagement of funds and lack of complete accreditation.

Despite raising N130,548,000, the students claim that the department and school management have ignored their plight, prompting them to seek the governor's intervention. The students believe that the governor, being a lover of education, will listen to their concerns and help resolve the issue .

The protest highlights the struggles of over 1,000 students who have been unable to receive their certificates or register for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) due to the department's accreditation status. The students have expressed frustration and desperation, citing the impact on their future careers and livelihoods .
