Nasarawa State University Hosts NUC Accreditation Team for B.Sc Political Science Program

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Saadatu Hassan Liman, FELLOW; UNESCO, ACLS, FIIFPN, welcomed the National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Team on Tuesday, 26th November 2024. The visit was in connection with the accreditation of the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Political Science program at the University.

The meeting, which was held at the University’s Council Chamber, was a significant step in ensuring the program's compliance with NUC standards.

The NUC Accreditation Team was led by Professor Henry Oghoator from Western Delta University. Other team members included Professor Emma N. Ekwonamen from Imo State University and Professor Joshua Sunday from the University of Jos.

Professor Liman expressed her gratitude to the team for their efforts in ensuring quality assurance in Nigerian universities and reaffirmed NSUK's commitment to academic excellence.

The visit is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the standards and recognition of the Political Science program at NSUK, aligning it with national and global benchmarks.
