Nasarawa State University Keffi Hosts Renowned Experts for Symposium on Artificial Intelligence
The Nasarawa State University Keffi, Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, received a delegation of resource persons for the symposium organized by the Department of Statistics and Data Analytics.
The symposium, themed "An Artificial Intelligence Solution to Statistics and Society," aims to sensitize the public on the benefits of Artificial Intelligence.
The delegation was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Professor Danladi Makwin Makut, and the Head of Department, Statistics and Data Analytics, Dr. Mary Adehi. Notable experts attending the symposium include Padre Micheal Nsikak Umoh (Ph.D.), National Director of Social Communications, Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria; Ambassador Onyekwere Godwin Nwachukwuneke, MD CatholicPay Limited, Software and Website Developer/Data Analyst; and Engr. Emmanuel Okunlola, Embedded System/Software Engineer and Data Scientist.
The symposium targets SS3 students, advanced institutions, and undergraduate and postgraduate students, showcasing Artificial Intelligence's potential in statistics and society.
