Nasarawa State University Keffi Expands Open Distance e-Learning Programs

Nasarawa State University Keffi's Open Distance e-Learning Centre is set to expand its programs, making tertiary education more accessible. Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman announced this during the inauguration of the Centre's Governing Board on October 10, 2024.

The expansion aims to provide opportunities for those who face distance or work-related challenges in accessing university education. Professor Liman emphasized that age should not be a barrier to acquiring higher education. She assured the National Universities Commission (NUC) that the Centre will maintain its standards .

The Centre will commence academic activities with 100 and 200 Level students for the (link unavailable) Public Administration program. The Director, Professor Benneth Colman Uzoechi, praised the university management for their support since the Centre's inception almost two years ago.
