Nasarawa State University Vice Chancellor Eulogizes Professors Akinwumi, Ayuba, and Others as Chapel Of Salvation Celebrates 10th Anniversary on the Growth and Development of the University and also in molding the character of Students.

Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has paid glowing tributes to the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Lokoja, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Haruna Kuje Ayuba for the outstanding services they are rendering to the growth and development of the University.

Professor Suleiman gave the commendation while speaking as a special guest of honor at the 10th Anniversary and Dedication of the Chapel of Salvation, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, over the weekend.

Professor Suleiman enumerated that he and  Professor Akinwumi who had served as his Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academics before his current appointment as Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja conceived the work plan that the University is standing on and also the milestone achievements that have been realized so far.

The Vice-Chancellor also commended the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academics, Professor Haruna Kuje Ayuba who is a council member of the Chapel of Salvation for being a strong team player in the running and management of the University, stressing that in  Professor Ayuba has no cause for worry even when he is not available to handle the University functions.

Other members of the Chapel recognized by the Vice-Chancellor for their contributions to the development of the University include former DVC Admin, Professor Yakubu Ngwai, the Chapel Council Chairman, Professor Gideon Amuga, the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Professor G.S Omachonu, Dr. Abraham Areo, amongst others.

Professor Suleiman while congratulating the Chapel on its 10th Anniversary stated that the University is pleased with the contributions the Chapel is making in the growth and development of the University and also in molding the character of students.

The Vice-Chancellor said that his administration will never give room to people who manipulate religion for their selfish interests, maintaining that it is the will of God that both religions coexist together without fighting one another.

The 10th Anniversary of the Chapel Of Salvation which ran from the 24th to the 26th of March 2023 had the theme " Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us".
