Nasarawa State University VC Meets TETfund Scholars in Malaysia

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi,  Professor Saadatu Hassan Liman, who recently visited Malaysia for an International Conference on Islamic Financial Literacy took time out of her busy schedule to interface with some Nasarawa State University scholars who are currently benefiting from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) scholarship program in Malaysia.

The Vice-Chancellor's interaction with some of the scholars was a testament to her commitment to the welfare and academic progress of her staff. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for her to personally connect with the scholars, gain insights into their experiences and challenges, and offer support and encouragement.

During the interaction, Professor Sa'adatu engaged in discussions with the scholars, inquiring about their research projects, academic progress, and overall well-being. She expressed her pride in their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence as well as shun all forms of unethical conduct.

The scholars also had the opportunity to share their experiences and seek guidance from the Vice-Chancellor on various academic and personal matters.

This gesture is in line with the Vice- Chancellor's commitment to ensuring the well-being and success of Nasarawa State University's staff. By prioritizing the welfare of her staff, she is creating a conducive environment for academic growth and innovation.

On the Vice-Chancellor's entourage were the Director Academic Planning, Professor Abdullahi Adamu Sulaiman, the Director, Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Professor Rasheeda Olanrewaju, the Tetfund Desk Officer (Training), Associate. Professor Usman Alhaji Yusuf, and Associate Professor Mohammed Alhassan Yunus.
