From 2016 to 2023, James consistently faced setbacks in his attempts to pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Refusing to give up, he enrolled in the IJMB program in 2021 to improve his chances. However, he faced further disappointments in subsequent UTME applications. His persistence paid off in 2024 when he was offered admission into the Faculty of Law at UNIJOS.
