National Association of Life Science Students, UNIMAID Chapter, Appeals to Vice Chancellor for Examination Waiver

The National Association of Life Science Students, University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) Chapter, has appealed to the Vice Chancellor to grant a waiver to students who missed examinations due to inability to complete registration payments on time.

 

In a letter signed by the President, Saeed Abubakar Hussaini, and Secretary, Yahaya Lawan Yahaya, the association cited the current economic difficulties as the reason for the students' inability to complete their registration payments.

The association argued that denying these students the opportunity to complete their academic work would not only affect their education but also hinder their capacity to contribute to societal transformation as future scientists.

The association is seeking the Vice Chancellor's intervention to allow the affected students to register for at least one course, providing them with an opportunity to salvage their academic progress and fulfill their potential as change-makers in society.

 

The association expressed gratitude in advance, hoping that the Vice Chancellor would consider their appeal.
