Nigerian Institute of Architecture Fellows Visit Ahmadu Bello University

A delegation of fellows from the Nigerian Institute of Architecture (NIA) recently visited Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where they met with the university's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kabiru Bala.
Led by NIA President, Arch. Mobolaji A. Adeniyi, the team expressed their appreciation for the knowledge they acquired during their time at ABU, acknowledging the university's significant role in shaping their lives.
The visit also highlighted the institute's efforts to collaborate with ABU's Department of Architecture. According to the Dean of Environmental Design, Professor Abubakar Abdullahi, the NIA has established a unique award for 'Best Students in Design' to promote excellence in the department.
Receiving the delegation, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Ahmed Doko Ibrahim, who represented the Vice-Chancellor, commended the NIA's gesture and reiterated the university's commitment to fostering partnerships and collaborations.
The visit demonstrates the strong bond between ABU and its alumni, as well as the university's openness to collaborations and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
