Nigerian Sociological and Criminological Student Association KASU to Host Summit on Government Accountability

The Nigerian Sociological and Criminological Student Association (KASU-Chapter) is set to hold a student summit/seminar on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:00 am. The event will take place at the Pharmacy Hall, Kaduna State University, and is organized in collaboration with SOC19.

Themed "The Role of Sociologists in Holding Government Accountable: Emerging Challenges and Prospects," the summit will feature key speakers including Professor Godswill James, Professor of Sociology and Population Studies, and Professor Hauwa Evelyn Yusuf, Professor of Criminology and Gender Studies.

The event will be hosted by Muhammad Labaran Dalhat, President of NSASA KASU, and Miss Hannatu Zom, PhD. The Chief Host is Dr. Jafar AbdulKadir, Head of the Department of Sociology at Kaduna State University.
