Prof. A.M Aibinu, the Vice-Chancellor of Summit University, Offa, delivered an insightful presentation on the importance of digital skills, educational pathways, and emerging technological trends at the ongoing Exhibition, Graduation & Prize Presentation Ceremony of the 2024 Kwara Free Summer Coding and Digital Literacy Program.
Themed "Shaping Tomorrow's Innovators," the event, hosted at E-Phoenix Annex II, Flower Garden, Ilorin, attracted a large audience of students, parents, and educational leaders. Prof. Aibinu highlighted the critical role of youth in driving future innovations, emphasizing the need for proactive learning, continuous adaptation, and problem-solving skills to navigate the rapidly evolving digital world.
Addressing challenges faced by the current educational system, he proposed targeted strategies to foster skill development among young people. "To shape the future, we must prepare our youth with the digital tools, mindset, and resilience to innovate," Prof. Aibinu remarked.
