Caleb Onoja Akogwu has achieved a significant feat in his academic pursuit by securing a full scholarship to further his studies at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in China. Graduating with a second-class upper grade in Botany Engineering from the University of Agriculture, Markurdi Nigeria, Caleb's dedication and hard work have earned him this prestigious opportunity.
He shared his elation and gratitude on LinkedIn, recounting the challenges he faced and the journey that led to his scholarship win, which was made possible through the Alliance of International Science Organisation's fully funded scholarship.
Throughout his academic journey, Caleb demonstrated resilience and determination, overcoming obstacles such as the ASUU strike and the COVID-19 pandemic. His proactive approach to preparing for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) included obtaining an international passport, arranging for his transcript, and ensuring his undergraduate work was published. Despite facing numerous rejections and financial challenges, Caleb remained steadfast in his pursuit of educational opportunities abroad, ultimately achieving success through perseverance and unwavering faith.
