NSUK Graduate Threatens Suicide Over Alleged UTME Registration Number Mix-Up

A graduate of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Adamu Sunday, has been battling depression and contemplating suicide after being denied enrollment in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) due to an alleged mix-up in his Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration number.

According to Sunday, who completed his Economics degree in 2024, the university mistakenly assigned his UTME registration number to another student, enabling that individual to participate in the NYSC program in his place.
